I am a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Maryland. Previously, I taught at the University of Arizona, where I completed a Ph.D. in philosophy in 2013. At Arizona, I wrote my dissertation under the supervision of Mark Timmons, and also studied in the Cognitive Science Program. From 2013-16, I was the Chauncey Truax Postdoctoral Fellow and Visiting Assistant Professor in Philosophy at Hamilton College. I hail from Maryland's beautiful Eastern Shore, and did my undergraduate degrees in biology and philosophy at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. My research lies primarily in ethical theory and moral psychology, and is, in keeping with my academic background, thoroughly interdisciplinary. I also hold interests in applied ethics, especially biomedical ethics, as well as social philosophy. |
